WELCOME to Brentwood United Reformed Church
Worship and Prayer
Baptism,Weddings and Funerals policy is here
Worship takes place at Brentwood United Reformed Church every week at different times and in different settings.
Every Sunday morning at 10.00 a.m.
Our ‘main service’, consisting of hymns in a variety of styles, prayer, readings from the Bible and a sermon from the worship leader. Adults and children begin by worshipping together, including an all-age address. Children and young people then continue separately as Junior Church, with appropriate activities. Worship is led by our Minister, visiting worship leaders and by members of the congregation. The last Sunday of the month is a Communion Service.
The third Sunday of every month at 5.00 p.m.
A service of music, prayer, preaching and sharing communion, led by our Minister. A chance to follow through a theme across the months for deeper reflection. Themes have included Genesis Speaks Today, Being Jonah and The Mystery of Faith.
Wednesday Worship, 12.45 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month
A thirty-minute service, mainly for those who attend our Lunch Club, consisting of hymns, chosen by the congregation and prayers, with opportunities for involvement and making contributions.
